Radford University is one of ten preview sites in Virginia
for the State Textbook Evaluation process. Every two
years publishers send the TRC
 all the currently
published textbooks meeting the Department of
Education's criteria for the subjects reviewed that
year. After the evaluation process is completed, the
materials become part of the TRC collection and are
cataloged for circulation.
Additional textbook
materials include manipulatives, videos, audiotapes,
activities, transparencies, posters, problem-solving
materials, big books, workbooks, teacher's resource
materials, CD-ROM’s, and computer-generated test
packages.
