Radford University is one of 75
NASA Educator
Resource Centers in the United States. Although the
NASA materials do not circulate, students and
teachers can preview the materials in the Center and
then request their personal copy. The materials are
interdisciplinary, combining mathematics and science
with social studies, humanities and the environment.
Through satellite and Internet downloads, the Center
keeps current information on shuttle flights and
NASA research.
|

Many of the
NASA materials available in the Center are also
available on the Web which can be accessed through
NASA's Education Portal.
The Teaching Resources Center has developed an
online
database of NASA materials available in the TRC.
Educators can search by material type or keyword and
then limit by grade level for materials that meet their
classroom needs.
A request form is available in
the database to download and print. Educators need
to fill in all the required information and bring
the form to the Center to receive the material.
